The Sunday School is collecting bags from Frito Lay products: Lays, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Rold Gold and Sun Chips. For every bag sent, the Sunday School receives 2 cents. Instead of recycling, these bags will go through a process called “upcycling”. With upcycling, the bags are cleaned and shaped, sewn, or fused into new products, like backpacks, messenger bags, lunch boxes, school supplies, shower curtains, and kites. This project will be ongoing, and bags may be placed in the box at the rear of the church. Please participate in this project and help our church and the environment.

Earth Day at Bear Creek Camp, Sunday, April 25. Opening worship begins at 10:00 a.m., program from 11:00 am to 5:00 p.m. Sunday School students will be meeting at the church for this event.

Please watch the bulletin for information about a fellowship hour to assemble the kits in late April. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Bob or Kim Hintze.

Help us go green! If you have an email address, and have not yet done so, please provide it on the sheet in the rear of the church, or email it to [emailprotected]. You can receive information about upcoming events at St. Peter’s via email, saving the church the cost of printing and postage.
