The General Tso’s Chicken was so good yall! I was in the mood for Asian food but I didn’t want to eat out at a restaurant and this was so good! It had a little kick to it but overall it was delicious!
I had to adjust my rating for this location, it sucks! It's totally different from how it was from my first rating and I get understand why. It's changed from a small self checkout to totally self checkout and I get it due to the past couple of years dealing with this pandemic. The problem is the change to totally self check takes jobs away and makes the experience impersonal. It may be more efficient with no contact, but it also takes the help away. With bots unloading the trucks and zero cashiers it's taken away jobs and that I don't like. I know that human disposition is a thing, but I'd rather it be as it was. This experience has made the reality of this new way of doing things without human contact or interaction all too real and frankly I'm not receptive at all. Maybe I'm of the wrong generation to accept this change fully, but I'm definitely indifferent and just want things to go back to normal. I'm one who totally despises this new way of doing business. Sorry, bit not sorry. Plus Walmart is exactly the entity I'd expect to take advantage of this new paradigm because they've always been for saving money and not necessarily for the employees.
Produce section is wiped out. Frozen foods not much better. The scanners at checkout are so dirty they won't read barcodes. Store is dirty in general.

Reviews
Visitors have mixed feelings about the Walmart Supercenter, with some expressing frustration over long lines, lack of cashiers, and impersonal self-checkout experiences. Some reviewers appreciate specific departments like electronics and clothing while others criticize the cleanliness and organization of the store. The removal of self-checkout lanes has been a point of contention for many customers who feel it has negatively impacted their shopping experience.

The store was clean and well stocked. The prices were good. The reason I only gave it two stars was the lack of cashiers. All checkouts were self serve except one! I use a cane and have a hard time with self checkouts. So I waited in line...and waited....and waited! They after almost 25 minutes, they finally opened a second cashier line. I waited in line for 35-40 minutes. This is hard for someone that needs a cane. The woman behind me had a motorized cart. She told me they only have a couple motorized carts. I will not be shopping at this store in the future. I'm done!
I had one of the most unwelcoming and frustrating experiences in the Shrewsbury Walmart in Saint Louis, MO between 8:30pm-9:00pm on May 8th, 2024. I picked up a package of lip balm that had a clearance tag on it for $.50 cents. After going through the checkout and paying I looked on the receipt and saw it was scanned for $3.47 instead of the marked $.50 cents. I turned around to tell the cashier and was promptly told he could not help. Ok. I walked back to the customer support section and there was nobody there. I walked to the exit and asked an associate monitoring the exit if she could help and was prompted to speak with the manager who was working on register 10. I get in line and wait my turn. The manager running the register told me she could not help me, and said to go ask an associate at the customer support section. I told her there was nobody there to help. She huffed and said there was nothing she could do. I said ok and walked back to the customer support section and waited for about 5 minutes before leaving the store. I did not receive any help for this minor issue and felt so unwelcome that I’ll never return to another Walmart or Sam’s club again. I will be canceling my membership to Sam’s club and shopping elsewhere.
