Hi Linkedin colleagues, Wanted to make another post showcasing my Project/Program Management experience!Payment Facilitators, Financial Crimes Enforcement Networks, Issuers, and Acquirers sometimes require big changes to the way card/commerce transactions are processed such as adding new fields to transaction information, new point of sale terminal implementations, and Chip Card EMV capabilities. These changes are mandatory regulatory compliance related changes and if they’re not adhered to the current organization or merchants of the facilitator can incur fines that can cost the company over $100K annually.As a Program/Project Manager the responsibilities include:Establish regularly cadenced meetings to propose the change and gather feedback from cross functional teamsPrioritize this task over others due to potential financial lossesEnsure there is little to no friction for the user experienceMap out risk assessmentsIron out resourcing constraints with cross functional teamsResearch Key Performance Indicators and decipher if these will be affected due to the changeCoordinate with Product/Engineering teams on sprints to release the configurationNegotiate with internal stakeholders if there is pushback Cross Functional Team Actions/Responsibilities: Engineering- Reconfigure/Implement Changes, Run Scripts, Coding ImplementationsRelationship/Account Management- Need to be looped in for Authorization Logic Indication ChangesPayment/Technical Operations- Responsible for user experience including write ins and headcount support capacity to support write insLegal- If there are legal ramifications or contract negotiations this team needs to be looped inData Science/Data Analysis- Gathers cohort data/implements KPI dashboards and provides this data to support the implementation project to support the PM in user data researchProduct Management- Ensures user experience isn’t negative and provides approval along with Engineering Management for the projectFinance- Assesses financial impact of potential fines and explore budget friendly solutionsPrivacy Program Management- If user personal information is utilized/distributed in this project they need to approve it The goal of the Program/Project Manager is to bridge communication gaps between business and technical stakeholders, maintain a positive relationship with the external partner, ensure teams meet deliverables, explore optimization opportunities, be the subject matter expert on the process, and ensure service level agreements are adhered to.I’ve worked on many projects like this during my time at Meta, Elavon, Inc., and Meridian Cooperative and wanted to showcase my Program/Project Management experience. Companies want to expand their business globally, but they don't want to offer employment remotely. Why...?As a mobile app developer having a decade of experience, getting a job is becoming real tough. Companies simply reject by sending a simple template of rejection message. Now, I'm thinking like, did I made the wrong choice of choosing my career into Mobile App Development? From the past 4 months managing my father's medical expenses, home rent etc is getting critical without having a job in hand.I urge every company, instead of looking at spending less tenure in a past company or from different locations doesn't mean the candidate is not worthy.
